HELPFUL TIPS FOR THE BUYER

1. Develop a "wish list" starting with the most important features your home must have and work your way down to things you would like to have.

2. Research the geographical location you would like to be in and let us know. When you have the opportunity, take a drive around, see what areas interest you and what areas do not. This way, when properties come on the market, we will be able to decide if a property will be of interest to you. We know your time is valuable and we don't want to waste it by showing you a property that will not be of any interest to you. On the other hand, we will be able to move quickly if a "hot" property comes on the market that would be of great interest to you.

3. Talk to a mortgage specialist  to get prequalified for a mortgage if at all possible. This will set the boundaries for searching for a home that will be affordable to you. It will also save time once you are ready to put an offer on a property and lessen the chance of losing a property because you don't have your financing in place.
